I recently stayed at a lovely hotel in the old city and had a fantastic experience. The owner, Eric, was incredibly helpful and made sure our stay was comfortable. The hotel, though still basic, is being upgraded step by step to make it more stylish and comfortable. I couldn't believe the value for money we received, especially considering the location. The breakfast served was absolutely fantastic, and we also had no trouble finding parking in the neighborhood. The small garden was a great place to relax and chill. a wonderful experience at Saint Eloi.

I had a wonderful stay at Saint Eloi in Tours. The hotel is basic but exceptionally clean and comfortable. The owner, Eric, was a great host, and the fresh pastries and coffee for breakfast were a delightful treat. The location is perfect for exploring the old town, and there was plenty of street parking available. I would definitely stay here again when I plan to explore more of the Loire valley.

Lovely warm welcome and a beautiful location just 5 minutes walk from the old town and the river. Basic accommodation, spotlessly clean, and excellent value for money. the communication beforehand was great, and Eric, the staff member we met on arrival, was pleasant, polite, and very helpful. He showed us to our room and explained the door code, as well as providing information on how to get to the old town. the triple room on the ground floor had everything we needed for our one night stay - it was clean, the shower was powerful and hot, and the bed was really comfortable. the location of the hotel was perfect, within easy walking distance of pubs and restaurants, with free street parking available. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you, Eric!

Although it was a hot day, the provided fan helped us stay cool. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Tours.

We were super close to the city center, so we could easily explore all the cool shops and cafes. Plus, there were tons of places to park nearby, which made it a breeze to get around. The staff were really friendly and helpful too - they gave us great recommendations for the best places to go out at night!

If I had to pick one thing, I wish the hotel had a cool rooftop terrace or a bar where we could have some drinks and hang out with other young people. It would have been the icing on the cake for our epic party weekend in Tours!
